It’s that time of year when Cupid flaps his wings… Gotta love Valentine’s Day! Before the big night, make sure you look amazing for that special someone in your life. Here are some simple ways to enhance your look for Valentine’s Day:

The messy, side-swept bun is definitely one of the ‘it’ looks right now. And, this is an easy way to add some romance to your hair. Here’s how to do it: Gather your hair at the nape and put it in a ponytail. Then, wrap the “tail” around the base and secure with bobby pins. (This tends to be easier if the hair is curled, but it is not necessary.) You want it to look loose and airy, but at the same time, you need it to stay, so don’t forget the hairspray! This will set the style. A tip: Lightly shake your head when you’re done. This will show you where any loose ends or areas are so you can secure them with a bobby pin, to ensure your style won’t “fall” out before the end of your night.
Loose, Flowing Locks
If you don’t want to mess with putting your hair up, there are some easy ways to get a soft, touchable finished style. First choose your desired texture (curly, wavy or straight). After you’ve achieve this texture, tease and lift your crown. This will add volume and drama to your look. Next sweep your hair to one side and let it cascade and/or gather over one shoulder. To secure this position lightly twist the hair at the nape of the neck and slide in a bobby pin that matches your hair color.
