<p><em><span style="font-size: 12px;"><strong><span style="font-weight: bold;">I have been a client of the Des Peres/Ballas location for over a year. After trying many expensive hair salons with little results, I walked into (at the time Custom Cuts) and sat down in Lindsay&#39;s chair. She gave me the cut and the color that I was looking for in a down-to-earth, snotty-free salon. I am proud to tell people I get my hair done at your establishment. Needing another appointment, I phoned for Lindsay but she had left for the day. I had watched the work of the Assistant Manager, and she was available, so I gave her a shot. I walked out totally loving the color and cut! Not only am I a client, but my sons are too. In fact, my oldest son will only get his hair cut by Lindsay.</span></strong></span></em></p>
<p><em><span style="font-size: 12px;"><strong><span style="font-weight: bold;">Please keep your costs affordable, as I can look good and still have some money left in my wallet. Awesome work Manager and Assistant Manager at the Ballas location!!</span></strong></span></em></p>

<p>I was delighted to receive these wonderful comments of Kristy&rsquo;s experience at our Des Peres location. Experiences like Kristy&rsquo;s are exactly what we work for each day. However, in offering her compliments, Kristy also voiced an important challenge &ndash; to keep our prices affordable. I feel many of our clients might be thinking the same thing as we transition to our new name LookAfter Hair Company.&nbsp;</p>
<p>To this challenge, I say this: <u><strong>I personally pledge to keep costs affordable</strong>.</u> Everything we are doing we have been doing for a long time at all 44 of our salons. What we wanted to do is change our name to reflect what we have become. And we truly know that it can be done at a very affordable cost.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I want you to know that a lot of my friends think I&rsquo;m crazy. Here we are celebrating the 25<sup>th</sup> Anniversary of a very successful, and profitable company, and I want to change the name. As you can see from the side bar about me, I like change. In fact I like lots of change. The old adage, &ldquo;If it ain&rsquo;t broke, don&rsquo;t fix it&rdquo;, has never applied to me. In my opinion, if you don&rsquo;t fix it, somebody else will, and then it won&rsquo;t be yours anymore.</p>
<p>In the last five years we have changed by a large margin, and now don&rsquo;t resemble the fast cut salons that we had been competing with since I started the company 25 years ago. So in order to differentiate ourselves from those fast cut salons, most of our loyal stylists as well as our branding consultant said that we needed to have a unique new identity in an entirely new category of hair care. Thus we created the new category of Hair Companies, and believe that our new name LookAfter Hair Company truly represents who we have become. So really, all the change has already happened, and all we are doing is reflecting that in our new name. A lot of my friends still think I&rsquo;m crazy, but then again they probably aren&rsquo;t the &ldquo;fix it&rdquo; type anyway.</p>
